Practice involvement with clinical trials
The practice occasionally participates in clinical trials. Any involvement is entirely voluntary — individual patients can end their participation at any point without providing reasons and with no negative consequences.
Why join a clinical trial?
According to the NHS, “Clinical trials help doctors understand how to treat a particular illness. It may benefit you, or others like you, in the future.” Participants may be among the first to access new treatments, though there is a possibility the new approach could prove no better — or worse — than standard care.
