Patient online services
The Ivers Practice offers registered patients digital access to key health services including appointment booking, prescription ordering, and medical record summaries. These services are integrated with the practice’s clinical computer systems through authorised platforms.
Patients can:
- Book, view, amend, cancel and print appointments online
- Order repeat prescriptions for medications and appliances electronically
- Access summary information from their medical records, including investigation results
- View, export, or print agreed-upon medical record summaries
Summary care record
The practice automatically uploads patient record summaries to the Summary Care Record on a daily basis. Patients have the option to opt out of this service — see Summary care record with opt-out choice.
NHS number
The NHS number serves as the primary identifier in all clinical correspondence issued by the practice. Patients can locate their NHS number through the NHS website.
Electronic records transfer
The practice uses GP2GP technology for efficient patient record transfers when patients register with or transfer from the practice.
